Custom Connector Setup
Connect TitanConnect to any AI that supports MCP custom connectors — including Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and more. No API key needed.
Prerequisites
- A Titan Tools account
- An AI app that supports custom MCP servers (Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, etc.)
Setup Steps
- 1
Open your AI app's integration settings
In Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Integrations → Add Custom MCP Server. In Claude.ai, use the MCP servers menu.
- 2
Add a new custom MCP server
Choose 'Add Custom MCP Server' or equivalent option in your AI platform.
- 3
Paste the server URL
MCP Server URLhttps://titanconnect.titannetwork.com/api/mcp - 4
Authenticate
Your AI app will open a browser window for you to log in with your Titan Tools account. After you approve, it automatically receives an access token.
- 5
Install the TitanConnect Skill
Go to the Skill page in these docs to install it. The skill teaches your AI the optimal workflow for using all 28 tools — it's required for the best experience.
- 6
Start using tools
All 28 TitanConnect tools are now available. Just ask your AI about your Amazon data.
Security
TitanConnect uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE for secure authentication. Your credentials are never shared with the AI — only a scoped access token.
Multi-account support
Custom Connector users get access to the full multi-Titan-Tools-account flow. You can link_account directly from chat to add more accounts later, then switch_account between them. Because the agent runs in the cloud and you run a browser, the link flow uses a copy-pasteable completion code shown on the success page. Read the multi-account guide →
Actions (Amazon Ads Writes)
The connector exposes 14 action tools (propose_*) that modify your Amazon Advertising account. Before each call, Claude.ai shows a confirmation dialog with the tool name and JSON arguments — click Allow to proceed, Deny to abort.
⚠️ Do NOT enable "Always Allow" for action tools. Once toggled, the model can call that tool without asking. Review every action call.
Action tools require the OAuth scope tools:write (the consent screen lists this when you authorize). By default they run in dry-run mode (the response includes dryRun: true). Read the full safety guide →
